Every Florida homeowner should obtain flood insurance
Florida's tropical weather puts us all at risk for flood damage, including Florida residents living outside of high-risk areas.
Security First Insurance has partnered with Wright Flood (formerly Fidelity Flood) to offer flood insurance coverage to Florida residents.
Flood loss is not covered by standard homeowners insurance and must be purchased as a separate policy. Wright Flood offers coverage through the National Flood Insurance Program, which is available up to $250,000 for residences including Florida condo units and up to $100,000 for contents. Florida renters are also encouraged to purchase flood coverage.
