Florida-based homeowners insurance provider, Security First Insurance Company, now serves more than 170,000 policyholders—up more than 17% from 2011. As a result of business growth, the company has hired 25 employees so far in 2012 and now employs more than 80 insurance professionals working from company headquarters in Ormond Beach, Florida. Two recent hires occupy newly-created positions among the company’s expanded management team. Frank Molinario has been hired as the company’s director of Human Resources and Toni Harrison is its new corporate communications manager.
Molinario comes to Security First Insurance Company with extensive experience in human resources with Covidien, a healthcare products manufacturing plant. Molinario also served his country in the United States Air Force, both as an enlisted airman and a commissioned officer. Molinario graduated from Mid-America Christian University in Moore, Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in Management and a master’s degree in Leadership. He will report to Locke Burt, Security First Insurance Chairman and President.
Harrison worked in corporate communications for three years at Allstate Insurance Company and five years at USAA Insurance Company. She has experience managing internal and external communications functions, as well as agency, catastrophe, and charitable giving communications. She has also worked in corporate communications / marketing for a human resources outsourcing company as well as a life insurance brokerage firm. Harrison earned her bachelor’s degree from University of South Florida and her master’s degree from University of Florida, both in Mass Communication. She will report to the company’s director of marketing, Marissa Buckley.
